Nice solid card. It’s not super powerful compared to the escalation in this set, but in a Rohan token deck he’ll basically always be an 8 strength companion. Not too bad for a rank and file soldier.

He’s also amazing for a budget deck. 8 strength common companions are always nice to use!

Sweetness! A virtual guarantee of an 8 strength companion in a Rohan token deck for only 2 twilight is awesome!

A 4 from me. Very Happy
I had to put something here.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Finally, a good use for the "Strength +2" dudes. Rohan tokens are everywhere!

I’d really like to see a Shire companion with this gametext, though.

He is good but im sure people are always going to use the likes of eowyn gamling aragorn etc... over this guy. So 3 as he is useful but wont replace some of the veteran rohan warriors.

Yes, but since he’s not unique, if you can spot just one Rohan token, you can have four 8/3 companions for only 8 twilight! That’s awesome.

I give him a 5. Not every day you see that kind of potential upside on a non-unique companion.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!
