How are followers played? do they go to your support area? or do you play them directly from hand onto a companion? I downloaded what I thought to be the most current rulebook and there is no mention of followers in it.
also, why does saruman, servant of sauron have the isengard culture instead of the uruk-hai culture? I dont really see the purpose for that. |

First; followers are played to your support area in the fellowship phase, and transferred to companions at the start of the maneuver phase for the printed aid cost. You will not find this in the most current rulebook as for some stupid reason the most up to date rule book is from Black Rider which was 3 sets ago
Followers are transferred back to your support area at the end of the turn if the character they were attached to didnt die, or the follower gets discarded by another card.
If you search decipher you will find articles written explaining what they do and how.
Second; Saruman was printed as an isengard character because Decipher wanted him so. He is from Isengard and isn’t an Uruk-Hai so makes sense. Cant find another explanation sorry! Hope the rest helps. |
