A surprisingly nice card. Notice that it’s the third card to make sites into mountains after final strike and uruk-hai scout, which is more than any other keyword except battleground (I think).
Also, let’s remember why this is here, it’s a free tale that becomes an exertion in the maneuver phase with a dragon’s tale (or makes your dwarves strength +8, whichever you’d prefer)! Certainly doesn’t sound bad to me.
Here’s to the return of tales!

I actually really like this card. It’s simple, interesting and balanced. The ability is one we haven’t seen much of, and I can see some decks really using this.
4!

Tales are back!
Yeah, this is a nifty little card. Certainly not game-breaking by itself, by combos very nicely with several cards, all of which can be used in Standard play! A solid 4. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

This would be an interesting splash into Eowyn wounding. Eowyn, Thorongil, Gimli BoG, an elfie, and Pippin, WoBaS with A Dragon’s Tale. Nice stuff. |

A free condition tale, with good potential, giving this a 4 as i could make use of it. |

And after Dragon’s Tale Baruk Khazad!
Oh and possibly Mines of Khazad-dum. If you have deck space. Although you may try to run some underground sites and use Till Durin Wakes Again. |
