by my count only 2 of the freeps possession ones won’t. all the shadow ones do

Yeah NB only the Gandalf cards arent standard, all the shadow cards are standard.

Thanks TheJord for the suggestions.
Actually besides that some of the cards are not standard, what I really was looking for is a card to wipe out the whole possessions from the support area of the shadow opponent, not one possession at a time. My main concern was that he stacks many many possessions there to prepare to use Troll of Cirith Gorgor or Covetous Uruk sometimes along with Sauron, The Lord of The Rings which gives him big big power with 30+ strength minion(s).

But actually you gave me another solution, Hama, Captain of The King’s Guard. He can be a good counter companion as he uses the same mechanic but what if he can throw out more than one of them as the Troll and Covetous are fairly low twilight and Sauron can be too using the text and he usually keep them in his hand to throw them one time late on the path where usually the twiliight pool is big enough.

The other solution I see is to try to discard the minions or shoot them down with wounds like Aragorn’s bow, Ranger’s Longbow ad archery, but I am still studying this way as Imay have not the needed cards to go for it.

first: there is no mass possession wipe against shadow. Isengard Smith in expanded can wipe the freeps if he survives.
2nd question. Saved from the fire used on smeagol.

Yeah. Use any version of Smeagol with Saved from the Fire to play Little Snuffler. But that’s really expensive.

I think that Incited pulls out any Gollum card, but that’s the discard pile.

Yes, Saved From The Fire is a good but expensive solution, but I guess I found a similar and cheaper one using On Your Doorstep.

Yes, I usually play smeagol in my starting fellowship, so I only miss gandy to use either cards to pull little snuffler out. The simpl solution is to put gandy as the starting fellowship along with smeagol.
Is there a card to pull gandy from the draw deck?
