Hmmmm kinda like A Shadow Rises for the fellowship, its certainly a neat idea but i will reserve judgement on the gameplay as dont know if it would work. Nice thinking though KiE. |

That is indeed pretty cool.
And don’t feel bad about dual-characters (as I call them). I didn’t mean to show you up there, it’s just that I already have a half-dozen such cards, and one of them happened to be Legolas & Gimli. Make all such cards you want...it’s still an original idea, since you didn’t know anyone else had thought of it too. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Sweet, thanks! Maybe I’ll post some of them sometime this week along with some "event characters". |

Aragorn, King in Exile wrote: Yeah. I thought my idea was original too. Oh well. Maybe I could make something like characters that are events.
Example:
 Rohan Army
Event - Assignment
Assignment: When you play this event, it becomes a strength 8, vitality 3, and resistance 6 companion until the regroup phase, then discard this event. If this event dies in a skirmish, place it in the dead pile.
What do you guys think?

•Bilbo, With •Sting
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
Ring-bound. Bilbo is considered to be bearing a hand weapon.
Each time Bilbo wins a skirmish, you may remove a burden. (Or 2 burdens if you can spot another ring-bound hobbit)
Regroup: Add 2 burdens to play a tale from your draw deck.
•Arwen, with •Hadafang
Companion • Elf
Strength: 8
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 7
Arwen is considered to be bearing a hand weapon. To play, spot 2 tokens.
Each time Arwen wins a skirmish, you may exert her to discard a condition.
Carpe Corpus’
Event • Skirmish
Make a dwarf strength +X, where X = the number of minions stacked on him. (Limit +4) |
In his eyes was the look of a hunted beast seeking some gap in the ring of his enemies. |

Not bad, not bad. I think the high cost offsets his very nice skirmish-winning ability, though I might still consider making him exert to remove the burden(s).

I think you can drop the spotting requirement, since she costs so much. Or at least limit it to 1 token.

Where is the title from? I’m not familiar with it. Make sure to capitalize "Dwarf", and put in "is" instead of "=". Nice help for your Gimli. |

I did that to highly discourage splashing.
Carpe Corpus is a name I derived from a card in Alien vs. Predator TCG. It means "Seize the body" or in my title "Seize the bodies" to go along with Gimli’s counting of kills. |
