| Its part of the normal promo set, decipher released about 6 of these, gandalf, arwen, eomer, gimli, boromir and frodo. You got them for joining an online psq or some sort of tournament from the lotr online game. I registered with the online game purely for promos. So once a month (long ago) they changed the promo card up for grabs, so every month id spend 10 dollars and join the tournament. Then using deciphers code reward scheme (which was bloody awfully maintained) you got a code you redeeemed at the decipher store and you got your promos sent through free. Most people waited months for theirs and some (like hedgehog81) still havent got theirs like a year or 2 later. I got all 6 of mine luckily. Thats why they are so rare. Theyre the only ones printed of this type and you can no longer get them. |
