Each time this minion wins a skirmish, you may exert an Orc and spot an unbound companion to make this minion participate in an additional assignment and skirmish phase with that companion.
So fierce were Sauron’s forces that despite grievous losses, through sheer numbers they were able to wear down the powerful warriors of the Last Alliance.
why would you need a assignment phase? just start a skirmish.
Well, the example we have like this (The Witch-king’s Beast, Fell Creature) has an assignment phase, so I think it fits.

Damage +2. Fierce.
This minion’s twilight cost is -2 for each Orc, Orc, and threat you can spot.
A literal sea of Orcs stood between Elendil and Gil-galad’s army and the Dark Lord Sauron.
with your lore the title should be different considering at the time of the last alliance morgul was Minas Ithil I believe.
Yikes. Good point. I think I’ll have to go back and change the titles of several of these guys. Thanks for catching that... once I’m able.
Thanks for the reviews, everyone! |

Dáin’s DC Duos #223
Okay, here’s some ambushing Orcs, representing the Orkish minions that took down Isildur and his sons at the Disaster of the Gladden Fields. Enjoy!
Mountain Ambusher
Minion • Orc
Strength: 5
Vitality: 2
Site: 6
Ambush . Hunter 1.
While the fellowship is at a battleground or mountain site, you may play this minion any time you could play an assignment event.
“But Isildur was overwhelmed by a host of Orcs that lay in wait in the Misty Mountains....”
Mountain Tracker
Minion • Orc
Strength: 6
Vitality: 2
Site: 6
Ambush . Hunter 1.
When you play this minion, spot another minion to make the Free Peoples player add or discard a card from hand.
While the fellowship is at a river or mountain site, you may play this minion any time you could play an assignment event.
“...but the Orcs hunted him by scent and slot, until he came to the River and plunged in.” |

Good, but maybe the first ability should require you to spot another minion?

I would drop his strength to 5 and give him hunter 1.

Took Thranduil’s suggestion for Mountain Tracker, and applied AP’s suggestion for Mountain Ambusher to both of them. How do they look now? |
