If a companion is about to be killed in a skirmish, add X threats and discard an Elf companion of twilight cost X to cancel the skirmish.

•Carrots and Cabbages
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot a Hobbit.
Each time a Hobbit heals (except at a sanctuary), add a token here.
Each time a card exerts a Hobbit, add a token here.
At the start of each Regroup phase, you may spot a Hobbit with resistance X and remove X tokens here to remove all wounds from that Hobbit.
"’The point is he’s clearly overreacting!’"
Decisive Assault
Event • Skirmish
Make an Uruk-hai strength +2 for each skirmish you have won this turn.
"’It is an army bred for a single purpose...’"
•Endless Dominion
Condition • Support Area
Each time a burden is added, add a token here.
Each time you take control of a site, add a token here.
Skirmish: Exert a minion and remove X tokens here to make a companion in the same skirmish strength -X. Discard this condition.
Sauron would do anything to recover The One Ring. And with that victory, hope would be lost forever.

Awesome - I think I made a card like this once. It was slightly different, but had the same general idea.

Cool, since it doesn’t work on the Ring-bearer. It’d made Lorien Elf a useful card . Also, the way it’s worded means that you can use the event even if you can’t add all the threats, since the threat-adding isn’t part of the cost.

I like it.... but make it cheaper. This is expensive.

Exert an Elf skirmishing a fierce minion to make that minion lose fierce and unable to gain fierce until the regroup phase.

Given Chase
Event • Skirmish
If the fellowship is in region 1, make a Dwarf damage +1.
If the fellowship is in region 2, spot a Dwarf skirmishing a minion to reinforce your condition.
If the fellowship is in region 3, make a minion skirmishing a Dwarf lose all damage bonuses.
"’And woe to them, if we prove the swifter!’"
Heralded
Condition
Resistance +1
Bearer must be a companion. Bearer is valiant. Limit 1 per bearer.
Skirmish: Exert bearer to transfer a possession from another companion to bearer. Exert that companion or add a threat.
"And straightway all the horns in the host were lifted up in music, and the blowing of the horns of Rohan in that hour was like a storm upon the plain and a thunder in the mountains."
•Isengard’s Fury
Condition • Support Area
Toil 1.
Each time an Uruk-hai wins a skirmish, add an token here.
Each time an Uruk-hai wins a skirmish, you may remove 4 tokens from here to wound the losing companion.
"The lightning flashed, and blazoned upon every helm and shield the ghastly hand of Isengard was seen." |

All of the abilities are rather weak, so you could definitely drop the cost to 0.

I like the idea, but the ability to juggle your weapons about during the skirmish might need to be more expensive. Maybe adding a threat in addition?

Ok, I reworded Breath of Life to make the threats mandatory, dropped Endless Dominion to , dropped Given Chase to , and added an additional cost to Heralded.

(Note that I don’t care for that card one bit; I just couldn’t come up with a J-word. Give me something better, please!)

Bearer is strength +1 for each wound on each character in its skirmish.
Skirmish: Discard this condition to heal bearer.

(I’m really trying to push the envelope on the Uruk-hai culture in this thread; they just suck right now. Let me know if I take it too far!)
Liar’s Admonition
Event • Maneuver
Discard your Man to discard a possession borne by an unbound companion. The Free Peoples player may allow you to take the first action during skirmishes until the regroup phase to prevent this.

Yikes, mass Shadow condition removal. Maybe it should discard all conditions, or just 2 Shadow conditions.
For a new J card, you could make a follower of Jolly Cotton.

I like it!
Discarding a minion is a rather large cost though, so maybe something else would be better.

Yeah, when I started writing Liar’s Admonition, I was thinking of taking it somewhere else. Maybe discarding all possessions borne by an unbound companion.
I want it powerful though |
