Well, this is sad, but not unexpected. I’m looking forward to Age’s End, I mostly collect anyway. I’m glad they’re finally going to do something special with the Fellowship.
Now, on to Stargate TCG! |

I’m really surprised they announced it before T&D. It was probably not D’s idea.
Makes me wonder if Saul Zaentz isn’t clearing the way for The Hobbit after all the nonesense that’s going on with New Line.
Either way, what a sad day . |

Bad news.
Anyway, maybe better now than more sets that decline the gameplay of LotR.
I’m really looking forward to Age’s End, though, sounds like a spectacular set. |

Well...that’s that.
I think we all knew this was coming, but now that it’s here, it’s very bittersweet. The game has been dropping like a rock recently, and if T&D was any indication of the level of escalation we could expect from here on out, then I think it’s actually good that they’re quitting now. Another set or two of that would have destroyed the game anyway, so at least now it ends while it’s still salvagable.
I just hope Age’s End will bring back some of the old Shadow cultures, at least in some cases. ’Twould be a neat way of bookending the days when the game was still pretty balanced. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

they should look at making DC cards to stay alive. (Dain has some good ones, and so do alot of other people). |
There is a power in this world beyond any of us, and Jesus is that power and The Savior.
this is my attempt to look cool.

There’s no "staying alive" here... did you miss the fact that they’re *losing* the license?
I have a sneaking feeling that this new Fellowship keyword will be something foolish like "While you can spot another Fellowship companion, this companion is strength +1."
Most likely.
But I am looking forward to a new Watcher in the Water; it’s long overdue. |

When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Or different text for each companion
"While u can spot a Fellowship Companion..."
...This companion is strength +3
...This companion cannot be overhelmed unless strength tripled
...This companion take only one wound during a skirmish
and so on |
