Ok, here are all the weapons. What I want you to do is vote on which hand weapon OVERALL, is the best choice for majority of decks. Please state why you think it’s the best choice. I’ll give you a shiney if you give 4-5 sentences bare-minimum as to why you think it’s the best choice.
Isengard Siege Bow
With this bow, Saruman, Agent of the Dark Lord can add yet another vitality to his impressive 4 already! If at a battleground, it also turns whoever bears it into an archer. It really doesn’t give any strength bonus, but vitality +1 is definately not a bad thing.
Isengard Sword
Wow! If there ever was a hand weapon to fear, it’s this one! Makes a companion strength -2, which can tip the scales in your favor of an overwhelm. It really doesn’t do anything more than that, but does it need to?!
Berserker Torch
Again, wow! If used with Uruk Dominator, it can be quite a potent weapon! It even sets itself up with its toil.
Weapon of Opportunity
A basic hand weapon with a strength +2 boost, but it does more than that. In a deck that stresses cycling, it’s like butter on toast. If you play it on an minion with a cost 4 or more, you get to draw a card.
Lurtz’s Sword, Mighty Longsword
You talk about effectiveness! It can play on any Uruk-hai, so you won’t find yourself clogging your hand with copies of this card waiting to draw Lurtz. It makes whoever bears it a hunter, and on Lurtz, it becomes devastating.
Ugluk’s Sword, Weapon of Command
Just like Lurtz’s Sword, this one can play on any Uruk-hai. This one also prevents whoever bears it from taking wounds until the skirmish phase (If you got 2 sites that is).
Blade of the White Hand
Yowza! Damage +3 possibly! However, if you don’t have at least 2 sites, this card really stinks. Only a strength +1 boost.
Spear of the White Hand
Hmm, on Uruk Dominator it becomes really great (Not as good as Berserker Torch, though). On Uruk Rogue alongside Isengard Siege Bow, it makes him strength +8! |

I’d like to give you 4-5 sentences, but this about sums it up,
Mauhur, Relentless Hunter + Isengard Sword = Dead Companion, The End. |

Isengard Sword.
Why? Because it doesn’t require a ton of twilight like the torch, and the unique weapons for starters.
Also it works wonders with Mauhur, and Shingle in a Storm.
Lets see how it works math wise, you start by playing a Our Foes Are Weak on a companion.
Then assign Mauhur, Relentless Hunter with an Isengard Sword to that companion who has a base strength of 7.
The sword and Our Foes Are Weak make the companion strength 4 and he is overwhelmed.....
Anyway I vote for it because it makes overwhelming companions much, much easier. |

I voted for Spear of the White Hand. It’s a really effective weapon, since A) it plays for free, B) it gives a strength boost, and C) it gives a vitality boost. The vitality boost is the most important part, since it works with all the Uruks that can use exertions: Uruk-hai Guard, Uruk Rogue, Sentinel Uruk, Uruk Dominator, Brawling Uruk, and more!

I really really like Weapon of Opportunity, so that is my choice. For it gives a regular strength +2 which is pretty good. It can also really help in a deck that wants to cycle through the draw deck. I really like putting it on Breeding Pit Conscript so you can really cycle through your draw deck fast. It may not be the best weapon in most decks but personally, it is my favorite. |

I also voted Spear of the White Hand. It’s a free vitality boost for the Uruk-hai, and you get a nice +1 strenght. It works well with a card like White Hand Guard and it’s fabulous with Mauhur to assing him to a fierce skirmish. A 9 strenght Hunter 1 minion who assigns himself is fantastic to kill the exausted companions on anduin banks, cavern entrance or neekerbeeker’s bog, or after a White hand slayer / broken in defeat combo. |

Dude, the best possession is: Lurtz’s Bow, Black-fletch Bow. It has the vitality boost of Spear of the White Hand, and can let you draw a card like Weapon of Opportunity.
But, since it’s not on the list, I’ll go with Spear of the White Hand, because it’s free. Although I have to give Weapon of Opportunity a close second because of the card drawing. |

Spear of the white hand. If you stick it on an Uruk Tactician, its like giving a lurker an isengard sword except for , plus gives the tactician +1 strength. If you want to make it better, add in 4x isengard sword on lurkers and an isengard siege bow on the tactician, as well as the spear. Plus our foes are weak... |
