Tale.
While you can spot a unique Gondor companion in the dead pile, each Gondor companion with resistance 4 or more is strength +1.
“‘Beneath Amon Hen I heard his cry. There many foes he fought. His cloven shield, his broken sword, they to the water brought. His head so proud, his face so fair, his limbs they laid to rest; and Rauros, golden Rauros-falls, bore him upon its breast.’”

Fastically rock with your other card! I can see a saved from the fire / gondor deck coming on here!

This would work well with a Saved from the Fire burn. Thumbs Up
I had to put something here.

Here’s an event that REALLY ties a couple of these recent cards together. Who needs Saved From the Fire anymore? Very Happy

2 Save My People Gondor
Event • Maneuver
Spot a unique Gondor companion to remove all threats and heal up to 3 Gondor companions. Then place that companion in the dead pile.
“‘You have conquered. Few have gained such a victory. Be at peace! Minas Tirith shall not fall!’”

Too good? Too weak? Help me figure it out, because I’m really not sure. Confused I’ll give a GP to anyone that reviews this card.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

My last review for a while! Dont do too much without me Dain i like this set and want to have a hand in the reviewing til its end!

3 Save My People Gondor
Event • Maneuver
Place a unique Man companion in the dead pile to remove a burden for each other Man of the same culture you can spot (limit 3) and heal up to 3 companions of the same culture.
“‘You have conquered. Few have gained such a victory. Be at peace! Minas Tirith shall not fall!’”

Ok first of all if youre going to give gondor burden removal, which along with conditions is its weakness, it cant be too powerful. So first make it Gondor man not just Man, and remove the heal bit. I no its seriously bad to kill a unique gondor man for removal of 3 burdens alone, but like i said its Gondor’s weakness.

Alternatively make it Gandalf man which would be great as youve phrased it. (cos also rohan shouldnt be allowed to benefit from this as they dont have burden removal either.)

Bit of a meta conflict youve got but its a good sound principle and a cool card idea Dain.

I may later do something like that for Gandalf Men, but since I wanted this to be Gondor, I changed to something much more up their alley. It’s now pretty much an entirely new card. How is it?

hum...I think you could safely cut the cost to 0-1 actually compared to citadel of the stars...it is cool

Neat. Not overpowered; Saved From the Fire is probably better. But this is great for IB decks... they add tons of threats, and use lots of exertions!

Two options I’m considering:

1.) Lowering the cost to 2.
2.) Changing it to a Man of any culture, and allowing the healing to be of other Men of that culture. Then Rohan, Gandalf, and other Men could use it too.

Do you think I should make either/both of those changes?

Definitely drop it to 2 if you’re using the text above - it’s just not as good as saved from the fire.

It would be fun with all Men, but I’d suggest you only change the first bit, ie. ’Spot a unique Man companion to remove all threats and heal up to 3 Gondor companions.’ With that, it could probably stay at 2 as well.

If you changed the second bit to ’heal 3 companions’ then you’d need to add a Gondor spotting requirement or make the Man you kill Gondor, but then it might warrant 3.
