Response If a companion is about to be killed, Discard Gwaihir and exert another companion to prevent that wound and prevent all wounds to that companion until the regroup phase.
Rare#37
A couple problems, but overall, not a bad idea. I did consider a companion, but I think that he does make much more sense as a follower or ally.
If you want to give it a different subtitle/number, it could be added in (with some little changes).
Specifically, the stats are a bit high for the cost (probably a +1 twilight, but I wouldn’t say +2 twilight). The ability has two main problems. First, absolutely nothing that prevents him from being splashed (not bad, but he discards as well, so wouldn’t take up a slot in the fellowship at all). Second, there are a couple ways to be killed, and only one is by wounding (others - overwhelmed, place into dead pile).
So, overall, I’d probably up cost by 1, add a to play requirement, or a spotting requirement to the ability and make the ability work for different versions of dying. |

In the next set, can you make a legolas’ sword that instead of rewarding you for not killing your enemies, deals with something like fighting better against wounded minions or something? Like it gives legolas a TMotR effect, or makes each minion skirmishing him -2 for each wound, or something? |

Perhaps a new version of the Long-knives of Legolas would be better? |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Well, I figure I’ll do something similar to this one, although I may get some cards made to start the second one. Unfortunately neither will work for this set... unless, of course, we go with Blade of Legolas, as an example.
(By the way, "TMotR"? I’m drawing a blank here...) |

Make a Man strength +2. If the fellowship’s current site is a dwelling, it gains battleground.

This should say "make a man strength +2 until the regroup phase..."

Like the old knives, except that instead of orcs and uruk-hai are -2, wounded minions are -2? That would be fine by me - pretty good, but much better would be OP |

But now I’m not requesting a design, more requesting a card already designed. Oh well. Keep quiet, and nobody’ll notice |

Erkenbrand’s Horn, Signal of Salvation
220
Rare
Erkenbrand blew his horn as he rode in to save the day, so have it reflect that. Some sort of late-phase rescue action. |

222, maybe?
It would have to come after Erkenbrand in any case... (see Gimli, Son of Gloin vs Gimli’s Battle Axe) If so, I’ll get it up very soon.
4 more (besides this) and we’re ~1/15th of the way through the set |
