--- description ---
A crazy Solo-Smeagol token abusing deck with the power of Ninja Gollum in all its broken wounding glory.
--- end description ---
I always wanted to build a Solo-Smeagol, NG deck. I’m looking at building this one.
(40 cards)
Smeagol, Bearer of Great Secrets
The One Ring, The Ring of Doom
Faramir, Son of Denethor
Pippin, Hobbit of Some Intelligence
Naked Waste x 4
Not Listening x 4
Nasty x 4
Clever Hobbits x 2
Pathfinder x 2
Gladden Homestead x 2
Nice Fish x 4
Poor Wretch x 4
There’s Another Way x 4
Follow Smeagol x 3
Safe Passage x 2
Fishing Boat
Faramir’s Sword
Faramir’s Bow
The strategy is to load up tokens on Nice Fish and Gladden HOmestead, then abuse Fishing Boat so Smeagol never dies. Nasty can whup minions bad to load Nice Fish, and Naked Waste can pump Smeagol or Faramir. Excessive pumps can be burden with They Stole It on the shadow side.
Gollum, Stinker x 2
Gollum, Dark as Darkness
The Witch-King, Lord of the Nazgul x 2
Shelob, Her Ladyship x 3
Shelob, Eater of Light
Web x 2
Deceit x 3
Promise Keeping x 3
Not This Time x 2
They Stole It x 3
Fat One Wants It x 2
Incited x 2
Not Yet Vanquished
Heavy Burden
Hidden Even From Her x 2
Captured by the Ring x 4
Frenzied Attack x 4
You’re A Liar and a Thief x 2
They Stole it wounds like crazy, with Not This Time helping if you can’t burn cards. Don’t hesitate to burn a good card, Incited grabs it back. Frenzied attack wounds like crazy, and the minions doesn’t even have to be skirmishing Gollum, you can dro a companion skirmishing the Witch-King. The Witch-King? What’s he there for?
Well...grab the Witch-King, use Promise Keeping to hit the RB, then use The Witch-King to wound the RB twice, and then pull out a GOllum, Dark As Darkness kill in the regroup or add mega burdens.
If that doesn’t work, at least you get tons of burdens with Stinker, Not Yet Vanquished, and Heavy Burden to pull a crazy corruption.
Oh yeah, you don’t need to fight a companion to kill it. You’re a Liar and a Thief, with crazy Incited recursion hurts pretty bad when combined with Promise Keeping.
At 40/40 the deck looks big, bu it should cycle well with they stole it. Any thoughts? |

Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

Cut a copy of Frenzied Attack and a copy of Web and add 2 copies of Not Easily Avoided. It makes your hand cycle like a dream. |
I had to put something here. |

They Stole It! is the key card, I’d try to put in 4. It can always burn itself, so it won’t clog.
Love the deck. |
