Gandalf will mostly be trying to help out Hobbits. I’ll start off with Gandalf and a couple of his things:

4 •Gandalf, Wandering Conjurer Gandalf
Companion • Wizard
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
Each time Gandalf takes a wound you may add 2 to heal a Hobbit.
Each time a Hobbit takes a wound you may add a burden to draw a card.
LG R 90

2 •Glamdring, Wizard’s Blade Gandalf
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be Gandalf.
He is damage +1.
Each unwounded Hobbit is strength +1.
LG R 91

2 •Gandalf’s Staff, Gnarled Limb Gandalf
Artifact • Staff
Vitality +1
Bearer must be Gandalf.
He gains muster.
Skirmish: Exert Gandalf to make a minion skirmishing a Hobbit (except the Ring-bearer) strength -2.
LG R 92

Good subtitle choice. Thumbs Up I think the second ability should do something besides add 2.

Interesting. Perhaps make it hunter 1 instead.

I agree with SoP...either exclude the RB entirely or make it only -1 for the RB.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Actually SoP, both spellings are acceptable. I think conjurer looks better, however, so I would change it. Interesting, but I’d go with Dain. Maybe a burden for a greater effect?

How about: ’Each unwounded Hobbit is strength +1’? That firstly combos nicely with everyone knows, and can probably include ring-bound as well (which is important, I feel).

For balance, it should probably rule out the Ring-bearer, but for background I’d love it if it included Frodo, Bilbo and Sam. Maybe make it a worse effect and include the Ring-bearer?

yeah, I was kind of thinking that on the staff you could make it so that ypu exert gamdalf to make a minion skirmishing an unbound hobbit strength -2 (limit - 4) or something like that, I dont know.
