Well, so far so good, it seems. So here’s a couple Woodmen possessions. One of them will certainly look VERY familiar, but the other should throw you for a loop. Enjoy!
Beorning Axe (reprint)
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Vitality +1
Bearer must be a Man.
While Grimbeorn is bearing this possession, each time he wins a skirmish, you may take a card from your discard pile into hand.
No Orc or wolf dared enter the land of the Beornings.
Beorning Honey-cake
Possession
To play, spot a Man. Bearer must be a companion.
Maneuver or Regroup: Discard this possession to heal bearer or discard another card borne by bearer.
“‘Why it is better than the honey-cakes of the Beornings, and that is great praise, for the Beornings are the best bakers that I know of....’” |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I would make the ability also able to be used in the regroup phase. Neat card! |
I had to put something here. |

I feel like this should have a different title, but it probably doesn’t matter.

You never mention who can bear this card. As it costs an exertion, I agree with AP.

I would remove the exert and make it cost 1 |

Make it possession: Cake! This is cool but would remove the exert to play like SoP says.

Alright, I tweaked the honey-cake as suggested.
These will PROBABLY be the final Woodmen cards, but as you’ll see, I’ve saved the best for last. Enjoy!
•Realm of the Beornings
Condition • Support Area
Tale.
While the fellowship is in region 2 or 3, at the start of each skirmish involving a Man, you may exert that Man to make him strength +1 for each of the following you can spot in the current region: forest, river, mountain.
“Beorn indeed became a great chief afterwards in those regions and ruled a wide land between the mountains and the wood; and it is said that for many generations the men of his line had the power of taking bear’s shape, and some were grim men and bad, but most were in heart like Beorn....”
•Orcs Did Not Dare Enter
Condition • Support Area
Tale.
While the fellowship is in region 2, each time a minion is played, you may exert a companion to exert that minion (or wound that minion if the current site is a forest or river site).
“In their day the last goblins were hunted from the Misty Mountains and a new peace came over the edge of the Wild.” |

No you didnt! You didnt make it Possession • Cake !!! Pleeeeeeease?

Wow thats big lore to fit on a card. Very cool Dain but id make the condition cost 2 as it costs an exertion anyway and you need to controlling the site path pretty well to maxmize it. But doesnt matter if not seems fairly balanced. Sweet.

Hmmm very powerful. Think its balanced as well. Not sure. Kinda like shadowplay but for . Seeing as its only region 2 fair enough.

Why is it a skirmish ability? And why does it have ’each time’ in a special ability? What is it supposed to be - a triggered ability or a response?
