I like that Dain, very useful. Wouldnt change it I think its balanced. If people disagree id say make the card you discard a card.

fastness  maybe I misinterpreted the title but Puh-leeze. and misspelled strength. did you mean vastness?

Should maybe say "if the discarded card is a Tree." as the minion getting the strength is also a "card," and could be loophole-interpreted to mean "Or +2 if that minion is a tree." Just a minor deal. Looks good, though. Maybe add a +4 limit?
Remember, there are several Tree minions in this set, and there will be a handful more in future sets, so it’s not quite as hard to discard Trees as you might think.

I’d like to try and use this shadow side in conjunction with huorns! Might be a bit too good and useful. Maybe make it exert a minion to play?
