Made many recommended changes to recent and older cards. One specific response, though....
AnxiousChieftain wrote: In conclusion, so far the strategy seems to be way too mixed. You’ve got threats, resistance, RB exerting, and deck-discarding, which does not seem good. I would go for one or maybe two of those strategies.
I took out the threat option on Dark Waters...I think I did intend to go somewhere with that and then just forgot. RB exerting I definately want to keep, and the deck manipulation (both for you and against the FP) is fun, in my opinion. The resistance thing...hmmm. I think I’ll take that part out of Too Much For Him and up the cost to to make up for it. Sound good?
In the meantime, here’s a couple more Creatures. You didn’t think I was going to forget tentacles, did you? Enjoy!
Fetid Tentacle
Minion • Creature
Strength: 8
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
Tentacle. Lurker.
While you can spot Watcher in the Water, this minion is damage +1.
This minion may not bear possessions and is discarded if not at a marsh or river.
“One came wriggling over the threshold, glistening in the starlight....”
Groping Tentacle
Minion • Creature
Strength: 5
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
Tentacle.
Each time this minion wins a skirmish, the move limit for this turn is -1 (to a minimum of 1).
This minion may not bear possessions and is discarded if not at a marsh or river.
“...the groping tentacles writhed across the narrow shore and fingered the cliff-wall and the doors.” |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Well, between the strength boost the Watcher gives all tentancles and the Guided By One Purpose pump, you could actually get this up to 18 strength under the right circumstances. Even with just the Watcher and one Guided By One Purpose, it’s still a very decent 9 strength, so you could win some skirmishes easily enough if you just work for it a little.

Tentacle. Damage +1. Fierce.
Seizing Tentacle is strength +1 for each other Creature you can spot (limit +4).

Fair enough. Good minion if, obviously, a little similar to other themes. Should call it Anxious Tentacle. |

Probably one of the better tentacles, a possible 11 strength, fierce, and damage +1 off of isn’t bad at all. And with those pumps you were talking about... |
