I would have phrased it different but my vote is still for EL.

Nice card, Dain. And I guess great minds think alike.

Now we’ve been up against each other... 3 or 4 times. Why do I get stuck facing the good people? It’s always either Dain or AC...

And you’re neck-and-neck every time, too. Cool
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I have to go with Dain as I love its simplicity.

Both are great cards, but I have to vote for Dain. Grima, Namer of Misfortunes + Our Foes Are Weak = death to almost any companion. If he gave only resistance -1, I’d definitely vote for him.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

One thing I noticed is that neither is culturally enforced. Grima is broken, the Midges are weak. Splash Grima in a corruption deck, and voila. Need a couple extra burdens? Never mind, throw Grima on the RB. Or use Our Foes Are Weak to kill practically ANYONE! Especially if you have other resistance lowering cards.

Yeah, NB’s right, I needed cultural enforcement. I didn’t add the (except the Ring-Bearer) thing because I didn’t think of anything outside of Men resistance decks...

Saruman isnt culturally enforced so any culture can use him to exert and get the strength. But not the RB bit isnt so cool.

Any chance of a vote as well besides just a comment? Its 3-3. Next vote will decide. I want to move on.

Somebody VOTE!!!
