You know, it actually creeps me out how fast you review these (I just posted them!), although I like, not complaining!
I fixed the quotation marks, and I actually messed up with the reinforcements, I typed in 6 instead of 3, but it’s fixed and now he’s balanced enough.
Slightely better than Durin’s Bane, but he DOES have a spotting requirement, as well as being of a superior rarity. Also, back in the day of Durin’s Bane, he could be played EVERY TIME for 6, and this is not true now, as he’ll come out for, hopefully, 9 or so IF he’s in your hand. |

Fair enough, I suppose. It IS better with reinforcements 3 instead of 6. I might still argue for him costing , but it’s probably okay as-is. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Felipe Musco wrote: Not really, it wouldn’t be the same, as you’d have already played him, then lowering his cost would do no good. Ok, here’s a sweet, neat, new preview, i give you, the first uncommon Balrog EVER!
  • The Balrog, Leader of the Host
Minion • Balrog
Strength: 17
Vitality: 5
Site: 4
Damage +1. Fierce. Reinforcements 3.
To play, spot a Orc.
When the Balrog comes into play, choose maneuver, archery or skirmish. Skip the chosen phase.
He leapt forward spreading wide, blazing wings, an imponent presence between the lowly orcs.

Cool card! Really weird to skip skirmish... although, it should be worded different, I think, since each skirmish is in fact a different skirmish phase... |

Yeah, another thing that needs rewording, as I consider that the skirmish PHASE is one thing, and in it, skirmishes take place. I should probably make that clear, so, updating main post! |

Oh, and I, too, thought about raising his cost to 13, but thought it would be weird to have a Balrog with that cost. But then again, there has never been an uncommon balrog, so, updated! |

Wording idea: "When you play the Balrog, choose to skip either the maneuver, archery, or all skirmish phases until the start of the regroup phase." |
"ok, change of plans. the Cobracards christmas party is coming to my house, and we’re gunna teach FM how to hunt." (mm) |

Faces the same problem, CG. I want to enforce the "comes into play" rule. Also, I changed that all skirmishes happen in ONE skirmish PHASE. This enables a whole branch of possibilities, with "at the start of the skirmish phase" abilities being made possible, WHILE maintaining the "at the start of each skirmish involving this" ones. |

And here’s another little uncommon for ya!
Dwarven Helm
Possession • Helm
Strength: +1
Bearer must be a Dwarf.
Bearer is steeled.
They all wore strong, full-metal helmets.

Fine, but the class needs to be "Helm" rather than "Helmet". |
