As you all know, Lord of the Rings TCG is ending, however the CC forum will not go down without a fight! Twisted Evil
Though Cobra is ending the Article contest give aways, a group has stepped up to help keep that part of the forum running.

This will help support the ’war’ to keep Lord of the Ring cards from ending.

alright guys here is how it will go. (based off my ideas speak up if you have any other ideas.)

The gold piece branch will award 6 GP’s to the winning article, 4 GP to the second place, and 2 GP to the third.

GP supplied by: SickofPalantirs, Carpeguitarrem, Elf lvr, Celebrimbor, NBarden, Gate Troll

The rares that are up first are:

the Wealth of moria
Tower Assassin
Isengard Mechanics

Second place gets:

10 C’s-U’s

supplied by: Ingold55 (me Razz)

I will remind again,
If you win the article contest, you will win the R’s and other cards, plus the GP’s.

The top two winners of the article contest will please pm me their address, and I will ship the cards to them.

I think it blows as it is (no ofense, though). THere were awards ’till up to 5th place, so I say give the R’s to 1st place, the C’s and U’s for 2nd, and gp for the other 3. After all, we also get gp for votes, so the winning article will have gotten a steadily flow of gp anyway.

Yeah, but the more, the merrier, right? Keeping the community alive, isn’t that what this is all about? Oh, and to those of you interested in switching into MtG, I can throw in some Standard C’s and U’s even for LotR’s articles, how does that sound?

I would advise spreading the GPs out a bit more, as well as cutting down the card prizes. Like, 2 rares to 1st place, 1 to second place, then smatter C’s and U’s among the four or five...

No, I would keep it to first and second for now.

For one, we don’t know how much participation we’ll have in the new contest anyway. Nice to plan big, but take it with a dose of realism. Start small, then move bigger.
