Alright, I decided to drop the Ring-bound thing...mostly. How is it now? |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Does this mean will be seeing more ring-bound for culture? Or are you just assuming that Gimli, bearer of grudges will be the only one?

Again, there are other ways to get Ring-bound companions in my sets. Not many, but a couple. The big one is the condition Hold To Your Purpose, which can make any companion with the Frodo signet a Ring-bound companion. That means certain versions of Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Boromir, Gandalf, Legolas, and (important for this card) Gimli can become Ring-bound: the Nine Walkers. There are a couple others (like Arwen and Faramir) as well, but they make sense too, yes?
So this card, when comboed with Hold To Your Purpose, would also work with Gimli, Dwarf of the Mountain-race and my own Gimli, Of Durin’s Folk. |

Make a Dwarf strength +2 and resistance +1 until the regroup phase. Then, if that Dwarf has resistance 5 or more, you may heal him (or heal him twice if he is Ring-bound).

Well done, Dain. I would consider making the event take place in the skirmish phase instead of the maneuver though, but that is just my personal preferance. |
