ok,
AKIE:
•Unlikely Friendship
Condition
Bearer must be a dwarf.
While you can spot an elf, bearer is considered to be part of the culture. Bearer cannot bear possessions.
"Gimli, son of Gloin, formed an unlikely friendship with Legolas, son of Thranduil."
Common
AP:
• Fame and Renown
Condition • Support Area
Tale. Toil 1.
Each time a Dwarf wins a skirmish, add a token here.
Maneuver: Remove 2 tokens from here to take a tale into hand from your discard pile.
Response: If a Dwarf is about to take a wound in a skirmish, remove 3 tokens from here to prevent that (or 2 tokens if that Dwarf is bearing an artifact).
“’Am I right in guessing that you are the Glóin, one of the twelve companions of the great Thorin Oakenshield?’”
votes please. |

Hmm... tough choice. I was going to use Cobra’s search engine to figure out exactly how useful AKiE’s card would be, but then I remembered that Cobra eliminated the search engine.
For now I’ll vote for AKiE, giving him the benefit of the doubt. That’s definitely a cool idea.
I reserve the right to change my mind if anyone points anything out that would make the card not good.

AP, just cant see the point in AKiE’s card. Novel and fun but pointless unless youre afraid of rainbow punishment. |

Well, first of all, Lemon, as I never wrote that the dwarf lost its dwarf culture and as far as I know there are no rules against a companion having more then one culture, the dwarf bearing this condition is both dwarf culture and elf culture. So that could open up some cool ideas. While this card isn’t game breaking or super useful as you said, it is fun and helps with cards like Strands of Elven Hair. Not every card has to be extremly good.
Second of all, AC, here a list of most of the cards that could be used with my card:
Army Long Trained
Back to the Light
Celebring (Spoting purposes)
Elven Supplies
Gil-Galad, High Kin of the Noldor (Spoting purposes)
Glorfindel, Eldarin Lord (Spoting purposes)
Lembas Bread (Spoting purposes)
Miruvore
Woodhall Elf, Exile (Bonus)
Dinendal, Mirkwood Archer (Bonus)
Arwen, Reflection of Luthien
Crashing Cavalry
Final Shot
Aegnor, Elven Escort
Galadriel, Bearer of Wisdom
Gil-Galad, Elven High King (Spoting Purposes)
Wish for Our Kinfolk
Not the First Halfling
Ancient Blade
Mirkwood Bowman
Hope this help. |

Hmm true i suppose but my vote stands cos AP’s card is cool and i still think its weird what youre trying to do. I applaud its novelty and ingenuity but too weird. I mean he’s just not elfish in anyway. |

Oh, man. They’re both so cool. It’s almost a coin flip. But as much as I LOVE AP’s card, I have to go with AKiE. That’s friggin’ awesome. |

AP’s card is excellent, but has too much text in my opinion. So I’m voting AKiE, because I love the idea (which is very similar to a whole set I made around that theme).
