As the subject suggests, I heard about SdA from a friend of mine and downloaded it last night. Me and him are both noobs at the card game in general, but I’d love to have a go if anyone wants to play. Also, I can’t get hosting to work. My dad doesn’t want me forwarding ports, but my friend opened port 10000 and we still can’t play, even with him hosting. Ahh well. I’m on the cobracards chatroom right now if anyone wants to play.

Game Result:
My Returned Dwarven Tokens / Forestguls
vs
His Noble Leaders / Men Archery.

I won! But only barely. I had 3 of my 5 comps at site 9, and he just had GAtS and a Voice of the Desert. One more twilight would’ve brought Elevated Fire, but I had two bracers and a resistance left on Gimli with the Ring of Rings.

Forestguls didn’t do so hot on his freeps, so we were both doubling for the end. After stopping him once, I had a significant enough lead that it was basically archers on dwarves... and it was close. Good game!

A bit... but you’d already dropped 3 Elevated Fire and 3 Precision Targeting on me. Stood to reason you didn’t have a ton left.

Game Result
NappyKorn’s Frodo + Aragorn w/ Ninja Gollum + Sauron
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ Men archery

We both traded a good amount of wounds through regions 1 and 2, and he cruised into site 6 ahead of me. Shelob had given my guys some trouble, and Sauron had killed Elendil at site 4. I managed to play an Elevated Fire here and there, but he absorbed most of my wounds with Resolute Hobbit’s base resistance of 12.

He moved to site 9 with an exhausted Aragorn and a Frodo either 2 wounds or 3 burdens away from death. Archery killed Aragorn, and Frodo sustained 1 wound. In the skirmish phase, The Great Ring and Dagger Strike couldn’t get him out of the jam, and he lost the skirmish 16-13, taking the final wound and the loss.

Good game! Very Happy

Yeah Actually made it to site 9, was very Happy Laughing, Thanks for helping me with it. Took some of you advice and ditched the expensive anduril for a cheaper Gondorian blade, and made some other adjustments. I might just get the hang of this. Thumbs Up
