Very well...Toldea is yours. It will be shipped soon by the one that donated it to the contest (in the case of Toldea, it will be shipped to you by NBarden...check here to see who donated what to the cause). Once we settle a couple more prizes, I’ll let NBarden know and he’ll get it in the mail for you.
Apologies again, bib. Hopefully it won’t sour the prize you’re getting. 
EDIT: Oh, since Toldea was on my list, I’ll take Ring of Ire (FOIL) in its place. I’ve updated the prize list on the bottom of this page. |

Well, I don’t consider that entirely my fault, since I hyped it up in this forum, the DC forum, and basically everywhere I went for many weeks ahead of time, and many other forumers were talking about it, too. I couldn’t very well PM every member and tell them...I figured that the message was out there enough for regulars to know about it.
But not notifying you had won...I take full responsibility for that. |

I know that, but it’s just a little confusing coming on here and finding out that I’ve won a "mediocre" prize for a contest I wasn’t aware I was even part of. Nor that I had won and the fact that I could have won a better prize if I had known earlier.

Absolutely.
Really, though, it was those who voted that involved you. I considering making a list of five or so choices for each category, but decided to leave it wide open so that any and everyone could potentially recieve votes. For the category you won (Best Gameplay Question Answerer), there were only two other people who recieved any votes at all, and neither of them got more than two. You had NINE. If I had thought about it ahead of time, I probably would have figured you’d win it easily, but I tried to do each category without any specific forumer in mind. So when the votes started pouring in and your name was appearing over and over, it came as a surprise. Makes perfect sense NOW, but since I had tried not to imagine who might win what, it snuck up on me. Then the votes were in, the winners were decided, and now here we are.
I should have notified you as soon as I knew, but I didn’t, and that was a serious oversight on my part. I’d take it back if I could, but I can’t, hence the reason I opened up the three prizes I had selected for you to choose from as well. Best I could do at that point, as it wouldn’t be fair to make everyone else choose again because of my mistake.

Yeah I do, but the winners have to actually look in this thread to know that they have won. I can’t speak for the other winners who haven’t claimed their prizes, but I don’t look in every single thread on these boards. I only look in the ones that I might be interested in posting in. So there is no way I could have known I had won without a PM.
Waiting a month after the winners were announced is ridiculous. |

Hmm, i think i will take Saruman, and any other card of your choise.
Concerning the awards:
I think i should have won the RPGing contest, but oh well, your people’s call 
Plus i think my articles were worth some voes given their good quality in spite of lack of quantity.
