gamereport MADGOBLIN vs Gil Estel
He played ents/stern words/orc wounding vs my dwarfs/wraith (series 16) corruption..
Nice game, I corrupted him at site 9..my keening wails came late game. Luckily they came in time  ...His wounding orcs were nasty but I generated way too little twiligth.. He killed my Gloin right away, but then I did damage control and all went well! Good game |

Game Results
OneFathom’s Gandalf  w/  Possessions
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ archery
Not much to say; we traded wounds throughout region 2, and then Gandalf corrupted himself on the move to site 7. Good game!

Shieldmaiden’s Multicultural Wounding w/ Wargs
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ archery
The game crashed at site 5, but her entire fellowship was exhausted, whereas mine was in pretty good shape. She conceded the victory. Good game!

Shieldmaiden’s Aragorn + Faramir Duo w/ Southrons
vs.
my Elvents w/ Ninja Gollum
She beat up on my Elves rather badly with archery, due to the fact that I didn’t pull Elven Armaments until site 5.  She handled Gollum and Shelob well, and Coat of Mail on Faramir saved her from being overwhelmed twice. At site 8, she was forced to move to site 9, lest the followers come off Faramir and automatically corrupt him. I used Not This Time! to discard her 2 Saplings, and then won the skirmish 30-12 to kill Faramir. Good game!

Game Result
OneFathom’s  Men w/ Possessions
vs.
my Elvents w/ Ninja Gollum
My hand didn’t cycle too well in region 1, and he walked into region 2 with minimal damage. His Orcs gave my Elves a fair bit of trouble, but the twins cruised into site 6 with only a couple of wounds. His New-awakened and Pallando destroyed my events, and he even discard a couple of FP conditions with Dread and Despair.He double-moved from site 7 to 8, and then easily took care of Gollum and Black Gate Sentry. I doubled to site 8, and then used Secluded Homestead to reconcile 3 additional times. I played Her Ladyship w/ Hopeless and Mumak Commander at site 9, but Treebeard took out the Commander and Gandalf handled Gollum and Shelob with no problem. There went my 3-game winning streak. Good game! |
