I guess I always jump on here at the wrong times. If anyone wants to play a game, let me know. I’m down. I’ll be in the CC chatroom too if you wanna hit me up there. |

ok, so me and LeoKula went up for a game.
I can’t take credits for my fellowship but here it is: Smeagol+Ringbound Hobbits/Shelob+gollum stinker+Sense of Obligation versus his Fighting Frodo/evil Witch-king
Ok, due to my Sense of Obligation, for those who don’t know the card: at the end of the assignment, if bearer isn’t assigned to a skirmish and an other companion -not bearing a condition is- add a burden. Well, with Her ladyship doing all the assignments Eowyn wasn’t doing much, oh no she did do something: she added the burdens. Gollum became strong eventually, winning me a few skirmishes which made the pile of burden grow bigger. My hobbits were scary, even to me. Incredible, the No Visitors combo. I saw it, built my own and this was the first time I saw it in action. I didn’t even put in OP cards like prized lagan, but wow, they were frightning..I couldn’t sleep. His fellowship was based upon Eowyn, but as you can imagine it was out of game due to my shadow. He didn’t run condition-discard so we were just waiting Frodo to be burdened....Not a good game, eventhough I won. When victory is that obvious, it’s not nice to play!, so maybe next time we have more fun Leo! |

His hobbits and wounding minions with mumak rider, orkish lackey and frenzy of arrows against my token dwarves with control site uruks.
With The Fortunes of Balins Folk I exausted Mumak Rider or even killed minions and thus he couldn’t use Frenzy of Arrows. I got back that event during the maneuver with Ring of Guile.
Sometimes I got benefit by Frenzy of Arrows as well to reinforce tokens with Wel-crafted Armor.
Now about his freeps and my shadow. My minions were fierce so he couldn’t cancel the second skirmishes and I got many tokens on Poised fo Assault and controlled sites easily. Then I used them to give damage to uruk-hai and kill the hobbits finally.
It wasn’t a tough game and thus not very fun. Looking forward for a harder one |

Game Result
Celebrimbor (Frodo-Gorn choke/Corsairs)
vs
NappyKorn (Elf-dwarf hunters/Nazzi corruption)
We had to stop abruptly during the middle of an immensely fun game. He put a few burdens on Frodo, but only could play at most 2 nazgul per site.
At site 4 I brought out a 20 Str. Castamir and overwhelmed his Gil-galad and Orophin. If we would have played on longer, I had another Castamir in hand and prepared to do the same thing again.
It was fun and challenging. |

What! You little twerp!
Hmph. At least i bred a good generation of players.
DWARVES ARE BROKEN! And with those new conditions they are terribly overpowered. |

I’m ready to help you get a better deck whenever you are.
Thanks, but drawing only 1 copy of lackey up to site 6 (while i was at 7) didn’t help much. My lackey deck always runs smoothly, provided i find a decent twilight pool OR nothing broken AND choking. It just happens to go NPE when this event kills a vital minion during EACH maneuver phase without a decent cost. Ithilien Blade needed a double exetyion and a roaming minion (AKA threats AND Madril). This one just needs a condition with tokens and the event OR the event in the discard pile and a ring of guile. |

You had once told me what freeps culture was broken... when we were at our locak shop. It wasn’t dwarven, it was the one I hate most of all, don’t you remember?
Anyway, who cares for a game? |
