What happens to a fortification when a minion it is attached to is killed? I’m assuming it is placed in your discard pile, but I’m not sure.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Okay, next question.

For my starting fellowship, say I start with a one-cost companion. Next, I insert Faramir, Captain of Ithilien, whose twilight cost is -1 for being in the starting fellowship. Can I then fill that last twilight slot with a companion like Ranger of the White Tree, spotting Faramir who normally costs 3 (but only costed 2 in this case) to make the RotWT cost 1?

OOO tricky one DI. Id say yes on the basis that once he is played faramirs twilight cost is still 3. But id say no cos u dont "play" your starting companions you place them. Hmmm.

Personally id go with the first DI.

Only the Ring-bearer is not played - they begin the game in play. All companions in your starting fellowship are played, so yes, Dain, you are correct.

Yes, you can. Never caught that before, but the rules say that once the companion is in place, twilight modifiers are gone.

Again, I can’t in the daytime on weekdays because I’m almost always at work. Perusing the forums is one thing, but playing a game is definately frowned upon. Besides, I DO have work that I do between posts, believe it or not. Razz

Thanks, guys...GP to all who chipped in on this! Thumbs Up
