Why not replace Gollum, Mad Thing with Gollum, Vile Creature? Hopeless is good in case you run up against those pesky Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms knights. Gollum, Hopeless and Gollum, Vile Creature are also both 4 Vitality, so they can survive better into the regroup phase for Horribly Strong, or exert for Not This Time!
Also make sure that you’ve got ways to add burdens, so that Horribly Strong works on the new companions who have more than 6 resistance.
Web is a must-have, if only for a last resort. What if you have Gollum, unwounded, in the regroup phase, but didn’t draw Unseen Foe? |

1 little, 2 little, 3 little Gollums...4 little, 5 little, 6 little Gollums...
Mad Thing doesn’t usually result in burdens. More often, your opponent will choose the strength bonus.
Hmm...I’m not sure what to replace for Web to go in. But I would recommend to take out one Enquea and put in something like Black Gate Sentry. Or, if you want to have fun with assignment, and you think you can get Shelob, Gollum, and Uruk Guard out at once, try that. |

That would work. Try it out, and see if you get enough burdens for horribly strong to work. |

Hidden Even From Her isn’t a reliable recursion card. It only works against decks that violate the Rule of 5. Other cards to play Gollum, however, are We Must Have it, and So Polite. |

HEFH also makes gollum fierce. I think that is the best part about the card. |
