Shocked In a deck with him, i would stock four copies of every turtle (maybe less of those in my starting fellowship...) good thing you made it exert twice. A bit like Grimbeorn, too. LOVE IT.

0 •Krang, from behind the scenes

The Free Peoples player may not assign Krang, from behind the scenes to a skirmish.

If a Shredder is in play, discard Oroku Saki.
Shadow: Remove 3 and discard Oroku Saki from play to play Shredder from your draw deck. Shredder is not roaming until the regroup phase.

See my previous comments about shredder. If you make shredder better, this guy will rock. if not... and you shouldn’t have to remove 3. This guy costs 2 already...

Interesting... Arent these supposed to be the bad guys Think If not, you need more ways to discard them. A mouser companion cycle theme. and with mister stockman... great cycling. Add mouser cards to remove burdens... you would presumably start with baxter a cornering mouser and a disposable mouser, correct? and the r-b. which brings up turtle ARB’s... oh yah also ways to play mousers from your discard pile (if you discard them).

hmm. make some turtle cards that remove burdens. and he is too... extreme. 15 cost, 25 strength, add 3 burdens.... make him more usable! Even sauron is usable!

hmm. on any turtle, an archery pump. on Raf... wounding and strength. like it.

Remember: the only version of Leo you have made so far had to exert to use his ability. dont put in too much exerting!

okay, one more post...

TURTLE SYNERGY. they’re brothers. add some three hunters synergy concepts. threat adding/subtracting would be good. also, in a deck with turles, you would run seven companions... with Kasey, turtles, and yoshi.

Make conditions and events.

Make Turle ARB’s. then get this: three hunters deck has dwarves elves and men, + RB. You could transform your turtles to fit this. Donny like legolas, mikey like aragorn, perhaps... raph like gimli... and i think leo would work as an arb. from what of the latest TV show i’ve seen, leonardo has some great emotional burden (like the ring) which makes him more powerful (like the extra strength arb’s have over frodo) but also is eating him inside (like the downsides arb have for being assigned, or moving, or w/e).

make conditions and events for foot swarm. it looks like that would work. (because, often, the turtles were faced with hordes of ninjas. still, their individual strength was better, so they could win. but in a card game, the weakness is the RB...)

make conditions and events for mouser deck/discard cycle. drawing cards and discarding companions to keep the fellowship moving through its cards. maybe even a mouser thats (Regroup: discard this companion to discard a minion). then you can have a card that replays mousers during regroup. remember though: no regroup event recursion if you go this way!

Make shredder like sauron, super-strong yet usable. you could add other minions to mimic the balrog and cave troll (which are often used in moria swarms, as one of my friends insists upon showing me...)

Make more companion and minion cutures. If shredder is like sauron, how to reduce his twilight cost? Burdens and threats? how to add them? with foot swarms? no, that wont work... and so forth. keep going with this. the game isnt made of companions and minions, and i think you really have somthing going here!

I have made some alterations on Rahzar and Shredder.

Krang, so far, is more of a strength pump (and a bad one), but he’s gonna have some use after I post my next DCs. However, since he’s gonna work like Saruman+Staff, I want him to survive even if the Freeps player discard his "staff", so that he may have to think twice about double moving, if Krang is sitting there... Twisted Evil

For Hamato Yoshi, well, he is usable... Just need some burden removal (I’m working on it). After all, Stockman (btw, he’s supposed to be a ring-bearer) has 9 resistance...

About Leonardo’s Katanas, well, that guy’s supposed to be a beast! Because of that, he’s gonna be the target of some nasty abilities. If that happens, as a last resort, you can simply blow him up to stop a swarms. Also, if you can get him strong enough, it may be worth the exertions, for instance, if you can eliminate two strong (or annoying minions). However, there WILL be some other versions of him... Wink

The Bo prevents characters from bearing other hand weapons because it is a double-weapon. Although it is ONE wooden staff, it need both hands to be operated to full extent.

Thanks for noticing my attention to details, it IS supposed to "reflect" what happened in the cartoons!

I wanted to make more of an "intro" on what I’m making. I’ll post bad guys’ possessions, for flavor, and then I’ll start getting to sinergies, starting, OF COURSE, with the Turtles! Very Happy
Shredder’s beastly version will be left for later, but he WILL have one, as you may expect Splinter as a companion... (Just to make you wonder...).
Events, conditions and new possessions/characters will be made now that I’m getting to in depht strategy!
And thanks a LOT for the review, hope you liked those! Now I have some encouragement to continue with this!

Every time the Fellowship moves, add 3.

4 Armored Turtle
Companion • Turtle
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
To play, spot a Turtle.
The move limit is -1 (to a minimum of 1).
Armored Turtle cannot take more than one wound during a skirmish.

Both the Free Peoples and the Shadow players may consider bearer as being a Turtle.
