| No, I am not wrong. If there are 3 cards stacked on Preparations, then you can place 3 wounds on minions skirmishing that Dwarf in any combination you want. |

Check the "for each" rules. Preparations works exactly the same as Merry’s Sword or Ithilien Trap, which can place exertions on minions in any combination you wish. |
