Those decks sound weird, does deciepher promote decks like these? or do they just spring up from the graves of bordom. Think

I think I’m gonna make a no rares (or maybe just commons) deck for SdA! But do no rares (or just commons) decks follow any other format? Like, can you use any set like in expanded? And is there an x or r list?

I would imagine not, since this all seems unofficial enough not to have one.

I had formats like
-Shire only/Moria only (and everything like this, for instance, Dwarves only/Dunland Only, etc...);
-Rainbow fellowship/rainbow shadow (meaning you HAVE to have AT LEAST one companion from each culture and one minion from each culture);
-Splash (meaning a bi-cultural or better freeps/shadow);
-No rares; commons only;
-No rules (meaning no rule of 4 or limiting cards to 4 of each); no uniques (meaning the • symbol means nothing);
-One-of-a-kind (you can’t have more than 1 copy of a single card);
-Two-of-a-kind (same);
-Four-some (you can only use cards if you use 4 copies of’em);
-Fellowship-crazy (start out with 9 companions down, your deck can’t have any other companion);
-Evil always wins (you may use a Shadow side as a Freeps side, choosing any Unique minion as your R-b. Your starting fellowship can have a total cost of 6);
-Site-crazy (restrictions on blocks does not apply, you can use any site you want, from any block, in the same fashion as you use a Shadows site path. Cards that only work on sites from a single block work on any of’em)
-Fatty decks (decks have to be AT LEAST 100 cards total); slim decks (decks MUST be 60 cards total);
-Draft: you choose 15 freeps, 15 shadow cards and a site path, containing NO rares and/or R-Listed, X-Listed cards, with a maximum of 2 copies of one single card. Open 3 packs, and with the new cards and your other 30, you must assemble a 40-card deck, minimum (and now the 2 copies rule does not apply). You may reshuffle the discard pile and use it again as a draw deck ONCE.

Did you guys like any of these? I had some others, too, but I only designed them, never got to play them, so I’m not listing. I’d also mix some of’em up, like Site-crazy Moria only, and so forth.
I don't like YOU.

Actually, by the time we played that, it was Fellowship/Tower block, so we had, as a Ring-bearer: Lurtz, Servant of Isengard; Orthanc Assassin; Cave Troll of Moria, Scourge of the Black Pit; The Witch-King, Lord of Angmar; The Balrog, Flame of Udun, among the most popular.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Actually, the nicest thing is imagine what bizarre twist got that Cave-Troll to take the Ring himslef and take it to Mount Doom, and picture him hacking ans slashing the Nazgûl on his way! Or picture Shelob fighting against her counterpart. Wink
