Nope, just a coincidence.
You might want to consider dropping a card for a 4th Slaked Thirst. Maybe drop Might of Numenor, or Saga of Elendil, or BRC. |

Adding another copy of Slaked Thirsts is probably a good idea. I’ll take out the Saga of Elendil, because I hate holding Aragorn’s stuff before he arrives!
Gimli is the ring-bearer because of Quick as May Be and Blood Runs Chill, need I say more! Out of my circle of friends who play lotr, only one plays a corruption based deck: twilight nazguls. I’m not too scared.
Gil-Galad isn’t an option because you need to spot two elves to play him, right? I only have Legolas in here. |

With exactly 2 cards that are not in the starting fellowship, Rumil would be a complete waste of space.
In addition, he would be a 6th companion, allowing cards like Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul to rip apart his Freeps.

No, it wouldn’t help his wounding strategy, since the odds of the top card of his draw deck being an card are extremely low.
This deck really doesn’t need him (or Gil-galad). |
