Of cource Aegnor was stronger than Gil-Gald, he was a son of Feanor! Although his father was quite strong too... 
Bur he wasn’t! He didn’t fight well with Sauron whereas his father wounded Morgoth 7 times! No, he deserves a better fate than Gil-Galad.

I understand that he’s more powerful, and everything, but what I’m saying is who wouldn’t use Gil-Galad vs him? Maybe make it so he’s harder to get into play, such as spotting 3 elves and twilight cost -  |

SoP: Morgoth was a Vala, not a Maia with a stupid ring you little pest!!!
Plus Sauron used to have much stronger forms. Once he was a vampire!But Morgoth is supposed to be equally strong to the king of the Valar! |
