So basically you want it to have a pic when it was being used by Elendil.
after all when it was reforged it was no longer narsil.

My thoughts exactly! Very Happy

SHWEET! I love that +3 strength bonus, first of all. That’s an awesome boost for a regular sword. And then the ability is amazing, especially as mentioned with 5-Vitality Elendil...and then you’ve got The Saga of Elendil, for even more fun...nice stuff! I love this one! And I could really see an Anduril-Narsil deck built.

This card is sweet! I echo CG’s statement; I’m looking forward to seeing an Aragorn/Anduril + Elendil/Narsil deck! Smile
I had to put something here.

d'oh! That would just be an updated Noble Leaders deck, wouldn’t it? I can’t believe I forgot about Noble Leaders...anyhow, Noble Leaders + New Anduril + this card pwnz0rz. Wink

I sense a thematic deck... Isildur, drunk with power, bearing The One-Ring, and side by side, his ascendant and descendant try to reason with him, while taking him to Mount Doom unsuspected, each of them bearing their legendary swords! And Isildur, well, he can have a Gondorian Blade... (after all, what can I do if he didn’t have a nice sword on him? Even Gimli’s ugly axe was cool enough to get a unique card, but did Isildur’s sword got one? Noooo!) Btw, this raises a point: why can’t weplay more than one unique card at once? Yeah, Iknow you all know the answer, I just wanted to get it to the top of your head for thenext sentence: "If Anduril is made FROM Narsil’s SHARDS, HOW can you have both of them in play at once?" I find that VERY unflavorful! You should have to discard one if you could spot the other!

Theoretically, the same could be said for Gollum/Smeagol...... Think

Not really, as Smeagol is depicted in the movie as sort of having split personality, so it’s possible that the two of them coexist for a little while. It’s even possible for them to skirmish (and kill) each other, based on this.

The big question is how my friend manages to play Narsil, the Shards of Narsil, and Anduril in the same deck?
