Card type isn’t a keyword, though, is it?

Oh, btw, with the Deceived Wizards/A Shadow Rises, would the minions lose fierce? Btw, they are minions and conditions because their game text says they are.

From the Comprehensive Rule Book 4.0
loaded keyword
Card type and class (see bearer) are loaded keywords. Other loaded keywords include ambush, archer (see archery phase), damage +X (see damage bonus), defender +X, enduring, fierce, lurker, muster, Ring-bearer, sanctuary, toil, and unhasty.

So it is no longer a minion since it loses all keywords not just loaded or unloaded keywords.

Decipher hasn’t issued an erratum since around the time of The Two Towers release. They have released clarifications and banned cards that were so poorly designed they couldn’t be fixed in any way (Mordor Fiend). I don’t think they will change that policy so we will be looking at a rules change (we already need several for shadow site liberation, shadow followers etc.) or a banning.

So you can’t PatHS a minion Eowyn assigns to the ringbearer? Because he’s not a minion?

At this time, that is correct.
