Tale. To play, spot 2 Men.
Each time you play a Man, add a threat.
Each time you play a Man, remove a threat.
“In this peril Cirion’s thought turned at last in desperation to the Éothéod....”
I would drop the cost to .
I’d rather not. It originally added a threat to play and costed . When I took away the threat, I upped the cost to . I think it needs SOME cost, SOMEhow, especially since it works with and Men, too. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Oh...no. I got my cards mixed up.
Still, I think it should have some cost, since it’s a great threat remover. |

Dáin’s DC Duos #155
Oh, I’m getting excited about what’s left. I was excited before, but I just spent time creating a couple more cards for the culture, and I can’t wait to unveil them.
But first, here’s a couple more basic but nifty companions. Enjoy!
Rider of the North
Companion • Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Valiant.
Skirmish: Play a possession on this companion to make him strength +1 and gain hunter 1 until the regroup phase.
“It is said that Eorl led forth some seven thousand fully-armed riders....”
Should I reduce his strength to 5, perhaps? And maybe then give him hunter 1?
Horsed Archer
Companion • Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Valiant. To play, spot a Man.
At the start of the archery phase, while this companion bears a ranged weapon and a mount, you may exert him and add to make him an archer until the regroup phase.
“...to go where need calls, if any bands of the enemy still lurk in the land....”
Oh, I can just imagine how this guy will make NBarden scream. I’m expecting he (or someone else) will demand to change it to making the archery total +1 or something, and I might if people recommend it, but I DO like him as he is now. |

I like! I might make it "Play a possession..." though.

I like him that way, too. It may be hard to guess from my profile , but I’ve played Rohan since I started playing the game in TTT. This guy is really good. Besides, being an archer is different from making the archery total greater; you can’t be a "double archer", and it also triggers cards like Their Arrows Enrage and Cave Troll’s Chain. I think he’s better this way. |

Pretty cool. He’s like a weaker version of the original Gamling.

You need to increase the cost to 3 or drop one (or both) of the keywords.
I’ll try to review the others later.

How about if I require spotting a Man to play? If not, I’d be inclined to increase the cost to .
Thanks for the reviews, Eomer and AC! to you, AC, for this being your first review in the thread. |

I think you can drop "each" and add "the" in his text. 6 strength wouldn’t hurt, either. Nice cards! |
I had to put something here. |

make it just exert him or just add 1, really I think just adding one would be sufficient. |
