I’m curious, why instead of ?
Who is Relemon? I’m not such a big fan of having made up personalities (though he sure does need to be unique). Why can’t he be Legolas (who is there in theory) or Galion (the butler) or the Captain of the Guards, or another Elf featured in The Hobbit?
I like Wine of Dorwinion, but as it’s unique, I think you should add in the ability to discard it to draw a card, as well as remove tokens.
Very nice Thranduil, but you probably don’t need to hyphenate ’Elven-king’ as throughout the book he’s referred to as ’Elvenking’.
I look forward to seeing a strategy unfold.

I used to think that way...until I realized that it’s all but impossible when doing something like The Hobbit. There’s simply not enough characters otherwise, especially among the Wood-elves and the Lakemen and such.
I always encourage using existing characters, especially in my own sets, but sometimes that’s just impossible and you have to, in my opinion, expand your hoizons a bit while trying to stay within the realm Tolkien created.
But that’s just my take. |

If we’re going to start making up characters, at least they could have names that mean something in Elvish, like Celebring. In the two seconds I’ve had to browse through the Silmarillion, how about ’Cucalen’, which is ’Greenbow’?
(If I wasn’t in such a rush, I’d think up something better...)

When you play this possession, add a token here for each Elf you can spot.
Maneuver: Remove 2 tokens from here to draw a card.

Neat, using mana pool symbols for cultures! Well-balanced card.

When you play this companion, you may draw a card.
While this companion is at a forest site, he is an archer.

I’d change the first sentence to say "When you play this companion, you may spot another companion to draw a card."

Dain_Ironfoot was the person who "came up" with using mana symbols as culture icons. AP is just following suit. |

I only got the idea out of desperation while trying to think of what to use for the Mirkwood culture: seemed to look okay, so I used that and intended it to be only temporary. Now, it’s CC history, it seems. Once again, you give me FAR too much credit.
But yeah, between , , , , and , there’s lots of potential. I’ve seen used for a new Dol Amroth culture, used for minions, and used for sites, which I thought was brilliant.
But anyway, enough about that. Back to AP’s cards. We want more! |

I changed Relemon to Legolas. Any reviews on him will be much appreciated (the first post in this thread).
But now, a couple more cards!
