Because he’s my favorite.
I mean look at his raw stats, hunter ability, and then he pumps up Aragorn. He takes advantage of EVERYTHING the Three Hunters have to offer, and then he gives Aragorn a great bonus.
Mablung is good if you run wounding, though. But the Dunedan went in my fighting Three Hunters deck, because he wins, and gives Aragorn a great boost.
There’s probably better guys, I just like him.

Damrod, don’t need. Focus has enough healing.
Mablung, don’t need. The deck doesn’t work around wounding.
Gondorian Prowler, all around wimpy.
