NO NO NO NO NO! You got that all wrong Celembrimor!
Placing the wounds is a madatory action after the skirmish is over. Promise Keeping, is a mandatory (i think due to wording) action, that responds to that very wound. Thus, it is used after the placing of the wound by default.
Deathly Roar is a quite different story however. Due to wording "you may..." this is considered an optional action. That means, all mandtory actions have to happen first (EG PLACING THE WOUND FOR LOSING) and then it triggers.
Hope i helped. |

I knew there was a possibility I was wrong...yeah, for PK anyway.
As for Deathly Roar, I think you’re right, I just glanced through the comprehensive rules
Thanks

Well, that’s assuming that there are 2 wounds on the Ring-bearer (which are usual, true) - and that the FP player lets you get those Lingering Shadows on him. (If I’m correct, those 2 wounds on the Ring-bearer actually mean that you get: Each time you play a Nazgul (allowing other effects to get it into play), add 9 burdens and make the Free Peoples player place 36 exertions on companions.)
Generally, if that doesn’t corrupt the Ring-bearer, it will give 2 wounds on the Ring-bearer. Assuming it does, then you’ll have: Each time you play a Nazgul, add 36 burdens and make the Free Peoples player place 138 exertions on companions.) - taking out the exertions used for the extra triggers (not the first 2).
And if you can survive that... Well, then another Nazgul could be played. Or, you just have to take on the Nazgul that are in play. And if you can survive that to site 9... (and you don’t use an infinite loop) - I’d say you deserve to win. (that said, I think it is possible to get high enough resistance to add 36 burdens and still be in play). |
Our time here is ending...
What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome ). |
