To finish off Gandalf: (i’m pretty sure I’ve spoiled some of these on another thread, but never mind)
Lightning

Spot a wizard to wound a minion assigned to an unbound companion (or wound it twice if it has less strength than that wizard).

Each time Gandalf is discarded, this artifact becomes a strength 6 vitality 3 resistance 4 wizard companion that cannot bear other cards until the end of the regroup phase. If this card is killed, place it in the discard pile.

worded bad again it should be Play a gandalf wizard from your discard pile to make each minion skirmishing a companion strength -2 until the end of the turn. one Q though. since when do minions skirmish companions in the regroup?

SoP, with your wording of Wizard’s power, the snapshot rule ruins it. It’s got to make, until the end of the turn, each skirmishing minion worse, rather than make each skirmishing minion worse (as they won’t be skirmishing in the regroup).
What do people think about Radagast?

OK I am confused. what is the snapshot rule, and how does it work in regroup(the card)

I’d put "until the end of the turn" last. Much cleaner that way.

I don’t understand the "non-flyer" thing. Double negatives always hurt my head. The other ability is pretty nifty, though.

That would work, I think, at least for Friendly Stranger: up his strength to 8 and he’s good. The other...I dunno. Maybe some minor ability when moving to or from certain sites.

It works, but the title is, most unfortunately, way too close to Glamdring, Orc Beater. (I had the subtitle "Beater" and had to try and come up with something else myself.)

sickofpalantirs wrote: OK I am confused. what is the snapshot rule, and how does it work in regroup(the card)
Snapshot rule is that cards take a ’picture’ of the game when the card is played.
With wizard’s power, if it said ’... to make each minion skirmishing a companion strength -2 until the end of the turn’ it would do nothing, because the snapshot is in the regroup phase when there are no minions skirmishing companions. (which is why your wording doesn’t work, Dain)
Similarly, if it said ’... to make each minion strength -2 until the end of the turn’ it would only apply to minions ’in the picture’ when the card was played, not minions that are played in the next site.
That’s the snapshot rule. With my wording, it should work so that all minions, even the ones they play next shadow phase, will be worse.
sickofpalantirs wrote: weird how would the rule of 9 work with this?
It’ll be fine, because you have to discard a companion to turn it into a companion.
Made some changes. How do they look now?

Changed the subtitle of Glamdring.
Am I getting any more on this, or should I continue?

You really like screwing with the rules dont you!? Wow. Erm... Well if i ignore the potential rules mindfield youre creating its sound enough. Though a fighting stick is kinda a scary thought.

Screwing with rules is what I do best. Wait until you see what I do with sites in the Battle of the Five Armies...
As promised, some flying things now, to tie in with the Wizards, remembering this keyword:

I’ve just realised I haven’t used the keyword I just reminded you of! Oh well, I’ll add this one:

Fair enough but if the entire tactic of this culture is around discarding it seems a little too easy to just make a card costing to discard them.
