Fine, but would you use a guy who does nothing unless against certain decks? Maybe if it was regroup and ’or’?

Maneuver: Remove to stack this minion on your Shadow condition.
Response: If the fellowship moves during the regroup phase and this minion is stacked on your card, you may play it as if played from hand.
“‘...Orcs came on us at unawares.’”
Make the second ability: ’Shadow: If the fellowship has moved more than once this turn and this minion is stacked on your card, play it as if played from hand.’

DáinIronfoot wrote: Okay, I added a simple spotting requirement to the Assailant, which makes him less splashable (which was worrying Thran) and a little more balanced (as his low cost was worrying some other reviewers). I also decided the Tracker was a little TOO bland, especially since Big D has a number of 7/2 minions that cost , so I bumped his text up to a +3 boost, meaning at the right sites, he’s now an 8/2 -cost minion. Assuming you approve (and if not, let me know), let’s move on.

Okay, here’s another, and it’s a big guy this time. Enjoy!
Assaulters of Amon Lanc
Minion • Orc
Strength: 12
Vitality: 3
Site: 7
Hunter 1.
While you can spot 2 other Orcs, this minion is fierce.
While at a mountain, this minion is strength +2.
While at a forest, this minion is strength -2.

It’s the name of the hill on which Dol Guldur is built. |

Well, that was easy.
I may have run out of steam with the FP stuff, but the ideas are still coming for the Shadow side. Enjoy!
•An Evil Power
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot 2 minions.
Each time the fellowship moves to a forest site, you may take a minion from your discard pile into hand.
“Their own accounts speak of...a shadow that fell on the forest, so that it became darkened and its new name was Mirkwood.”
•Dark Things
Condition • Support Area
While you can spot a mountain and a forest in the current region, each minion gains hunter 1 (or hunter 2 if that minion is a tracker).
“‘...we were drawing nigh to Dol Guldur, and that is still a very evil place; we do not go that way.’” |
