Why Mana Leak? That gives them a way out, and they should have a lot of mana sitting there waiting to be used if they’re in a lockdown. 
I like Rewind, that’s like, a free spell cancel if you have 4 lands.
I was wondering, wouldn’t it be interesting to use Extirpate as a filter card for you instead of to slam your opponent? Great cycling.  |

| It’s usually good for 2-colored decks in the early game. However, I like Remand better. Or even Delay, if you’re planning on playing Teferi. Delaying a spell just to Remand it then it’s about to resolve is SO fun! Doing that to an already suspended Lotus Bloom is even MORE fun! |
