You’ll probably be able to stick in the images from the Lackey program...it’ll be a bit of work. |

| Well I imported all the images for FOTR & TT that I grabbed from big D before they put their images into a database. So I only need everything after TT. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

| Well, here’s a text file list that’s mostly up-to-date with my pages. If you want to make it work with SdA, you would probably have to batch rename the images from LOTRxxxxx to LOTR-ENxxxxx either in the actual file names or in SdA’s database. |

| Sure, PM or post your email. Essentially it’s just some fiddling in a spreadsheet -- should take me 2-3 minutes. |

Actually, I’d like to know how to do that myself...That speaks for my DIY personality.

So, you use Excel? What about command prompt? |

You could use Excel or a similar program like OpenOffice Calc. I never shelled out the $$$ for MS Office. So here’s what I would do:

Import/Open the imglist.txt file and set / as the field delimiter. This should give you a spreadsheet with cells such as:

http: kralik.110mb.com images LOTR01001.jpg

Delete all columns except for the last one with the image filename. Then, copy the entire column to a second spreadsheet, and run a find and replace to replace LOTR with LOTR-EN (for example). Then, copy the second column with the renames back to the first spreadsheet so that you have two columns like this:

LOTR01001.jpg LOTR-EN01001.jpg

LOTR01002.jpg LOTR-EN01002.jpg

... ...

Finally, add a column in the front and fill the entire column with the word move. Now it looks like:

move LOTR01001.jpg LOTR-EN01001.jpg

Proceed to save or export it as a .csv text file, except have the delimiter be a space instead of a comma. If you rename it to something like "renamepics.bat", you could then run the batch file to do a mass rename.

I’m sure there are others ways to accomplish this, but all of the above takes me about 2 minutes, so that’s how I would do it.

It’s been a while since I’ve looked at SdA.xml to see what images it is looking for... keep in mind that the first few sets have a different naming convention. Those cards are named things like "5cleavingblow.jpg". But those are all available from D anyway. |

| Hey, I’d like that as well, if possible. The only thing I know how to do to computers is basic Javascript to capture all the URLs and display every picture on an HTML doc. That’s how I did the infamour auto-spoiler that killed LotR (ask AD, he’s the one that actually killed the game...using my stuff), but is still pretty novice compared to you two. |

I took the text file listed above, then used a program called URL2FILE to download them all. I had to modify the text file for use with the program, but it downloaded them all. I even used the text file to determine what name to save them all as. Worked great.

Quote: LOTR01001.jpg LOTR-EN01001.jpg

LOTR01002.jpg LOTR-EN01002.jpg

I renamed them as such, but be careful as SDA uses the old naming convention (for example: 1theoneringisildursbane.jpg) for sets 1-3, the LOTR-EN naming convention from sets 4 - 14, and uses the LOTR naming convention from sets 15 on.

It’s much easier to name them during the download than individually. |
