 Service To Gondor
Event • Fellowship
Exert a companion to take a possession from your draw deck into hand.

Nice. Pippin, WoBaS combo obviously intended here...
 • Denethor, Bearer of Troubles
Companion • Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 2
Ring-bound.
Denethor is resistance +1 for each knight you can spot.
At the start of each skirmish involving Denethor, choose to add 2 burdens or exert 3 companions.

Just a few notes. He should have ringed-resistance, since he is a Ring-bearer. Which brings about the other note. Since Frodo, Weary from the Journey has Ring-bearer in the text, I think Denethor (and any other Ring-bearer, for that matter) should also include this. You can drop the "choose to" part from his drawback text. Nicely done! I compliment you for tackling the task of turning a madman into a Ring-bearer. |

Nice idea, but I can’t seem to see it being used too often. Maybe 2 possessions...

I’m not a fan of having 2 ARBs from the same culture with the same drawback. I would make him different than Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms. |

Whoa, 2 exertions and 2 twilight cost for one heal? No one would ever use that card in a deck. Drop the cost and add a bigger effect.

Decent. Kinda bland in a way since it’ll only help for double-moving, but it’s balanced.

Once again, everything I’d say has already been said. I echo the comments on I Do Not Believe Him and also think Isildur’s text would be much cooler in an earlier phase. Maybe an unusual phase, like assignment. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |
