To play, spot 2 minions.
Response: If another Orc is killed, exert Host of Moria to take that Orc into hand.
“How many there were the Company could not count....”
I would make it "...exert Host of Moria and add ....". Neat card! |
I had to put something here. |

Well, the latest card is basically Pathfinder for Dwarves, so how about an ANTI-pathfinding card for the goblins. Like this one?
Bewildering Beyond Hope of Remembering
Condition • Support Area
The twilight cost of this condition is -1 for each minion you can spot.
If the fellowship is at an underground site and you can spot a Orc, the move limit is -1 (to a minimum of 1).
Discard this condition at the start of your Shadow phase.
“The Mines of Moria were vast and intricate beyond the imagination of Gimli, Glóin’s son, dwarf of the mountain-race though he was. To Gandalf the far-off memories of a journey long before were now of little help....” |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Well, as it turns out, we’re still here. My wife has been running pre-trip errands, and now I have a few spare minutes, so here’s some bonus cards dealing with the instruments of Moria. Enjoy!
Goblin Horn
Possession • Horn
Bearer must be a Orc. If bearer is unique, this possession’s twilight cost is -1.
Bearer may not bear a hand weapon.
Shadow: Exert bearer to add or make a minion strength +2 until the regroup phase.
“Another harsh horn-call and shrill cries rang out. Feet were coming down the corridor.”
Harsh Horn-Call
Event • Skirmish
Make a Orc strength +2 for each unique minion you can spot (limit +6).
“...amid the clamour a deep voice was raised in command.”
Drums in the Deep
Event • Skirmish
Make a Orc strength +2 (or +4 if skirmishing a Dwarf).
“The drum-beats broke out wildly: doomboom, doom-boom, and then stopped ... Doom, doom went the drum-beats again....”
I reprinted Stairs of Khazad-dum for the Dwarves, so it only made sense I reprint this, too. Yes, Thran, I’ll come up with some new lore later. |
