Grr...I had a lousy shadow. I had to slap it together in like five minutes...if only I had thought to make an infi Gandalf before. 
But I think I know what I can do to beat the other guy to Site 9 now. |

| Rematch of above, except I traded my lousy Uruk Shadow for an awesome Black Sails of Umbar/ Under Foot swarm, and he had Uruks instead of Corsairs and Gobbos. Infi Gandalf worked like a charm again, although I really wanted to pull Radagast to triple-move. When I finally pulled him, I had swarmed him-I got 2x Corsair Ruffian plus Castamir of Umbar on Frodo! gg, AP! |

I played a 3 round tourney using my Knights/Morc archery. Here are the games as best as I can remember:
Solo Smeagol/Beasterlings
This game started out pretty well. I killed off his Faramir and exhausted his Smeagol on site 2 or 3 with my Morgul Whelps, but he evaded all future wounds with RoR  I didn’t get more than 2 fortifications out the entire game, so running was not an option. He barely beat me to site 9 (Caras Galadhon)
FL - 1
Rohan Possessions/Nazzie Beatdown
This game was a good one. My morcs dominated his fellowship, and his Witch-King with Fell Beast dominated mine, so it was really a test of fellowships. I made the choice to kill Frodo early on, opting for Sam as my RB. I killed an average of 1 to 2 companions per site with my Morcs (large fellowships + Anduin Banks =  ) I raced him to site 9 and was able to beat him there.

I ended up taking second place in the tourney, and I played some other games afterwards using different decks, which I will post later.

heh elf lvr. I consistently play 4 player and quite often 5.
last game lilbro’s Rohan/uruk archeryvs lilbro’s gondor ranger/dunland
we were pretty even using the archers text I killed aragorn and I had 8 companion but he won the bid and made it to site 9. on site 8 he killed a minion that could have given him 6 archery that stunk. |

Anonymous Prodigy vs. Merrick_Hale
 wounding +  archery vs.  strength bonuses and  discarding.
It was a close game. I put a few wounds on him with archery, but on site 7 he managed to play Sauron, Dark Lord of Mordor at a twilight cost of 4 using his ability. Needless to say, I got swarmed. Good game, M_H! |

Thanks! It kind of helped that Grond, Hammer of the Underworld just kept eating your 0 cost cards. Dwarves have some good cheap stuff, but they aren’t that great when it comes to Grond.
For clarification, the shire was just a variant of the no strangers deck that chokes like the dickens and cancels skirmishes left and right by only running three companions (Frodo, Sam, Bilbo). I think by the time we were done, Frodo was a 9 (with Bilbo unassigned) and not using the Hunter Game text of the new ring, Sam was a 12 with Bilbo unassigned and Bilbo just runs away with No Visitors.
AP’s Free People’s deck did a pretty good job of choking my shadow and running. Small numbers of companions makes it very difficult to play many minions until you get into region 3.
It was good to play! I should get on SDA more often. |

AC vs. AC (I like playing against myself to test my decks!  )
Dwarves / Corsair + Moria Swarm vs. Noble Leaders / Morcs
The Morcs were killing the Dwarves, and Gondor looked to be in good shape, till a couple Corsair Marauders took out Footman’s Armor and Blade of Gondor, so that Boromir could be easily swarmed. Yay for Corsairs! |
