| Seems to me like D’s doing A LOT to pull people back into this set. Maybe trying a bit too hard. A lot of these cards seem like DC’s you’d find on a board like this (no offense intended, we have some really great DC makers here!) rather than usual Decipher quality cards. Especially with the inclustion of hunter cards, they’ve kind of sent the message: "This set is so revolutionary, if you want to keep playing, you HAVE to buy it." I fear many people will opt to just stop playing, if they haven’t already. And for players like me, who have no access to a local card shop, or a regular place to stop by and purchase a pack or two if I feel like, the "All-or-nothing" feel of things hardly makes me want to buy at all. I traded with AL for some hunters cards, but since my friends didn’t have access to any, they absolutely refused to play against a deck of mine that used hunters. I think this will all take a bigger turn for the worse. |

Well with respect to your opinion, elf lvr, I must disagree. I stopped playing just after Shadows because of a situation much like yours, but I’ve been following RoS very closely and I find myself asking only for LotR cards for Christmas. I’ll be buying RoS in bulk and I’m pretty sure others will, too.
Now, will RoS save Decipher’s license? That remains to be seen. I’m still hopeful though. |

If RoS makes it out before christmas... last christmas, I got a few bloodlines boxes, and if the same happens for RoS, that would be cool. But christmas IS in less than two weeks, and with the "usual" shipping delays and such that decipher puts on... |

| I’m pretty sure there are 2 Sarumans in RoS, which is what’s in my Speculative Cardlist over on Decipher’s forums. |

Oh don’t mistake my words, I *know* RoS will miss the holiday season by a mile. But I expect a mid-January release, not spring. |
