If you can spot a or minion, this event’s twilight cost is -1 (or -2 if you can spot both).
If the fellowship is at a forest, you may play companions and allies any time you could play a maneuver, archery, or regroup event until the end of the turn.
“Such day as there ever was in the forest was fading once more into the blackness of night, when suddenly out sprang the light of many torches all round them, like hundreds of red stars.”
Nice. Out comes Shotgun Enquea, and you stay under 5 companions, until the archery phase, then you slaughter them. Add to play exert 2 elves.
 • Good People
An example for this formatting would be as I did with my card, Men and Elves. or with forth the Three hunters
 •Men and Elves
Or
 Forth the Three Hunters!
Thus
 • Good People
Would be a good way to represent it. |

I made it exert one Elf. I think the higher twilight cost already balances it pretty well.

Understood, but I’d rather do it by just creating a new one in the culture and switching around the order of some things. Like this:
•Good People
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot an Elf and a Elf.
Each time a card must spot a Elf, you may add to spot an Elf instead.
Each time a card must spot an Elf, you may add to spot a Elf instead.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Spot an Elf, a Dwarf, and a Man to make each strength +1 until the regroup phase. You may then exert a Elf and add to return this event to your hand.
“With cries of ‘Moria!’ and ‘Dain, Dain!’ the dwarves of the Iron Hills plunged in, wielding their mattocks, upon the other side; and beside them came the men of the Lake with long swords. Panic came upon the Goblins; and even as they turned to meet this new attack, the elves charged again with renewed numbers.”
to make each spotted companion(maybe character0) IMO otherwise it is a little unclear. .
Bows Twanged, Arrows Whistled
Event • Archery
Spot a Elf companion to make the fellowship archery total +1 for each and companion bearing a ranged weapon. Then you may make the fellowship archery total -X (to a minimum of 0) to make X of those companions strength +1 until the regroup phase.
“As soon as the host of their enemies was dense in the valley, they sent against it a shower of arrows, and each flickered as it fled as if with stinging fire.”
to good. make it exert 2 elf companions IMO. otherwise WAY to good. |

Okay, I made the change to The Yells Were Deafening that SoP recommended and made more changes to Bows Twanged, Arrows Whistled. How are they now? |

Toil 1. To play, spot 2 Elf companions.
Skirmish: Discard this condition to make each Elf strength +1 until the regroup phase for each of the following that is true: he or she is bearing a hand weapon, he or she is assigned to skirmish an Orc or Uruk-hai, he or she is assigned to skirmish a fierce minion, he or she is assigned to skirmish a minion.
“The elves were the first to charge...a thousand of their spearmen leapt down and charged. The yells were deafening. The rocks were stained black with goblin blood.”
Expensive when compared to similar cards such as Tireless, Cleaving a Path, and His Father’s Charge. Maybe make it - if you’re going for toil.

While the fellowhip is at a forest or dwelling, exert a Elf to cancel a skirmish involving an unbound companion. At any other site, exert 2 Elves to cancel a skirmish involving a companion.
“Then if Bilbo was very nimble, he could slip out just behind them; though it was a dangerous thing to do. More than once he was nearly caught in the doors....”
I think it should say: "If the fellowship is at a forest or dwelling..." Nice card.

Love the fact that you’re making it a dual culture card.

I love versatile cards like this. But it is very expensive. Maybe make it toil 2? |

Thanks for the reviews, all. I made some recommended changes to a couple cards.
Dáin’s DC Duos #81
Okay, it looks like we’ve got nine more Duos to get through the Free Peoples side of the culture...including just four more Duos for the Wood-elves. Let’s see how many Duos we can get through today. Quick reviews = another Duo.
We’re almost out of Elf conditions and events, so let’s switch back to something else for now. Here’s the only (currently) Elf ally, as well as the last Wood-elf possession. Enjoy!
•Galion, King’s Butler
Ally • Home 7 [LA] • Elf
Strength: 4
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
To play, spot Thranduil or a Elf companion.
Fellowship: Exert Galion to play a possession from your draw deck. If that possession is Dorwinian Wine, you may place a token on it.
“‘You began your feasting early and muddled your wits! You have stacked some full casks here instead of the empty ones, if there is anything in weight.’”
Just your typical possession-grabbing ally. Of course, with Elves, that means lots of weapons...but it also means one very important (and much more appropriate) possession we haven’t seen yet. Until now....
•Dorwinian Wine
Possession • Support Area
When you play this possession, place a token here for each Elf you can spot (limit 3).
Response: If a companion is about to exert, you may add and remove a token from here to place no token for that exertion.
Regroup: Discard this possession to heal X companions, where X is the number of tokens on this possession.
“‘Now come with me and taste the new wine that has just come in. I shall be hard at work tonight clearing the cellars of the empty wood, so let us have a drink first to help the labour.’”
This is not the first Elven card to negate exertions. But it is the first to so easily allow negating as many as three! However, it also leaves you with a tough choice...keep it around for those exertions, or use it to heal everyone up now? There’s currently no way to reinforce tokens (and I don’t have plans right now to make a card that does so), so once those 3 (or less) are gone, they’re gone, and you can either be left celebrating your decision...or regretting it for the rest of the game. |

Remove X wounds...methinks. Methinks that you are making the culture for one purpose only, the death of NG... Seriously, this culture kills NG completely...
