Anyone think mine would be okay if I made it unique and cut the cost to 1, or should I pull out the archery -1 bit, too?

I think it would be fine if you made it unique and dropped the cost to 1, but I could be wrong. Smile
I had to put something here.

I think it should work (Boromir’s Shield vs Great Shield, as an example).

But it does appear to be less than 2, rather than 2 or less...
Our time here is ending...

What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome Smile).

Yep. Give it a nifty name if you do, though. Razz

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Okay, here’s what I’ve got. First, for Ryle:

1Aeglirnen, Eagle of Emyn Uial Gandalf
Follower
Strength +1
Resistance +1
To play, spot Ryle.
Aid2.
Each time you transfer this to a companion, except a Gandalf companion, exert bearer.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may exert a minion (if that minion is a Warg, wound it instead).

Basically, I’ll establish a little history of how Ryle found and saved this bird when it was young and now it is free, but still comes ’round to see Ryle from time to time and responds to certain whistles.

Now, for Rorin, I was thinking of one of the following:

1Hauberk of Steel Mail Dwarven
Possession • Armor
Vitality +1
Resistance +1
Bearer must be a Dwarf.
Each minion skirmishing bearer loses all damage bonuses (except from possessions or artifacts).
Tough, durable armor enables Dwarves to shake off blows that would cripple others.

1Ready and Able Dwarven
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot an unbound Dwarf.
At the end of each turn during which no Dwarf lost a skirmish, you may add a Dwarven token here.
Skirmish: Remove a Dwarven token from here to make an unbound companion strength +2 (or +3 if that companion is a Dwarf).

So, what do you think? I think the armor would be more useful in the long run, but the condition would help right away in the next turn--since nobody lost a skirmish this turn--and give a little strength boost to whoever needed it most. It would remain in play after that, of course, and could come in useful down the road.

Opinions?

thats a tough choice...the Q. is should you be selfish or unselfish? I would go with the armor if I were you

I owuld go with the armor if I were you. Based on what we’ve seen so far, looks like it could be pretty useful.

Besides, it’s that many less tokens for BW to keep track of. Laughing

The follower looks good.

Hey, anyone who wants to start a DC RPG like this one, if you could wait till the summer to get it started, DC RPG’s are something I’d like to include in the RPG forum, wich is getting revamped soon. PM me with your ideas.
