sweet! but cut the toil and make it cost 0 it isn’t that good

Okay, I made some changes to both cards in the last Duo. I’d prefer a review or two before we move on, if anyone has the time.  to anyone who does.  |

Hehe toil 1 card, thats nice it saves saying exert to play or you pay twilight. Nice! Cool balanced card as well.

This is cool, might be cooler to say play the possesion from hand or discard pile. Just a thought, but its a sound card anyway.

I think "weapon" should be "possession".  Neat card!

Solid card. Still wouldn’t exert though.

For this one, remember that there are several possessions in this set that have no strength bonuses whatsoever, and instead do things unrelated to skirmishing (like Dwarf Cloak, Thorin’s Pipe, and Tinder-box). Burning them for strength bonuses might not be such a bad idea when you need it.
I’d thought of that already, but throwing in possessions just so that you can discard them with this event seems a little silly to me. I’d still prefer something like ’Make a Dwarf strength +2. Then, choose one...’ and then increase its cost. Good card though.

Granted, but I’m not saying you throw those possessions in just to use this. Rather, you would throw this into a possession-heavy deck as a just-in-case of sorts. Most of those possessions I mentioned are pretty powerful, so you likely want to hang on to them, but if you really need that extra strength, this can be a decent way of getting it.
What if I upped the cost and made it strength +2 for each, as some others have suggested? |

I’d certainly be more inclined to use it. Then, you could make a guy +2 for each weapon they bear, then discard them to make them another +2!

Uh, look good, except for one thing. I don’t know how many of your possessions have stuff like "This possession may be borne in addition to X other [possession class]," but Gleamed Like Gold would be limited by that, since unless otherwise indicated, there can only be one possession/artifact of each class on a character. I don’t know if that would be a problem or not (and maybe someone already mentioned it back there in all that, but...) |
